Dave Atencio

Dave Atencio, singer/songwriter of The Box Music Family, began playing music at the age of 12. He learned guitar and began adding melodies and words, developing his natural gift of songwriting.  Dave credits his musical style from listening to Bob Marley, Sublime, Jack Johnson and Zac Brown.

Dave wrote a song he felt was perfect for the Good Day Sacramento show.  After sending producers a copy, he was invited to perform during their local music segment. Good Day Sacramento executives quickly secured the use of Dave’s song for their morning show music.
