Inspired by storytellers like John Hiatt, Rodney Crowell and songwriters Chuck Prophet and Ron Sexton filtered through early life experiences wandering the train tracks through wheat fields and smelling the fruit ripening in the orchards in his hometown Marysville, Ca.
